North Brandon (Tampa area) walk

This was a short walk near our Airbnb in North Brandon (outskirts of Tampa Bay) late in November, 2022.

Started at our place on Greenbelt Circle. Turning on to E Windhorst Rd it was nice to have the sidewalks back from the road (and winding a bit)

Seemed to be common to have sidewalks not be straight! This from Greenbelt Circle.

Big tree with Spanish Moss

As I walked by this house (and I was on the opposite side of the street) I got this message over a speaker: "Hi, you are currently being recorded"!

House 'AI' must have thought I was special.

This reminded me of (my brother) Mike's owl in his back yard. I talked to the owner briefly (he saw me taking the picture and asked if I liked it). I said that my brother had a similar one in Edmonton but it would be covered in snow ❄️ half the year.

Closer look at Spanish Moss

Big front lawn to mow I thought! (Then realized it's part of the Calvary Church - partly visible to the right).

Yes beer is cheap

These palm trees ain't so tall.

But are pretty cool for non-Floridians. And some are much taller!

A hawk was following me...

...or perhaps was following this squirrel?

Some tree damage here - perhaps by the squirrel?

Not so clear in this picture but there are MANY scooped out depressions around here - part of flood control I assume.

Nice colour here. Truck is parked on the lawn because a golf cart was in the driveway.

And finally our Airbnb
